Let’s live in peace and harmony.

We never thought that Russian invader

Would trample down our native land.

We couldn’t imagine that the neighbour

Would reach out his hand for our Motherland. 

We never thought, we never mind

About aggressor of any kind.

The peaceful people, who grow wheat,

Will never suffer from invaders feet. 

It is impossible that the fields and forests,

The human dwellings and the running torrents

Are all in danger, but people believe

That peace and friendship will always live. 

We’ll win invader very soon.

Ukraine will meet its happy noon.

Hardworking people will be free

And turn away the sudden enemy. 


We want rejoice at sun and life

And see the olds’ and children’s smile.

We want our songs be heard around

And good friends everywhere can be found.
